Sabi ng Panginoon, “Wala nang lunas ang kabulukan ng tao. Labis na siyang nagpapakasama-sama. Ngayon, dahil diyan iuunat ko ang Aking mga kamay upang magparusa. Parurusahan Ko ang mga taong tumatawag sa Pangalan Ko para humingi pero di naman Ako sinusunod sa halip nagpapakasama. Sila’y nagsisinungaling at ginagamit ang Pangalan Ko sa walang kabuluhan. Parurusahan Ko sila sapagkat sila’y masasama at nagpapaalipin sa kasalanan. Sinasayang nila ang ginawa Ko sa krus para sa kanilang kaligtasan. Muli nila Akong ipinapako sa krus at ibinibilad sa kahihiyan. Nawala na ang kanilang kahihiyan at wala na silang inaatupag kundi pawing kalaswaan. Parurusahan Ko sila at iyon ang nararapat. Niluluwalhati nila ang kamunduhan at kahalayan na naging mga diyus-diyusan nila. Ito ngayon ang bumubulag sa kanila para di nila Makita at malaman ang katotohanan. Nag-imbento sila ng sarili nilang relihiyon at ito ang relihiyon ng Diyablo – na sinusunod ang bawat hilig ng laman – ang pangangalunya, karima-rimarim na pamumuhay, pagsamba sa mga diyus-diyusan, pangkukulam, pagkagalit, pagkapoot, paninibugho, kasakiman, pagkakabaha-bahagi, pagkakampihan, pagkainggit, paglalasing, walang taros na pagsasaya at iba pang tulad nito. Binabalaan Ko kayo tulad noong una na di tatanggapin sa kaharian ng Diyos ang gumagawa ng ganito. At lalo pa silang nagpapakasama-sama. Nawalan na sila ng interes sa aking Salita ang langit ang tunay ninyong Bayan. Iukol ninyo ang inyong paningin sa mga bagay na makalangit at di sa makalupa. Sa langit ang kinaroroonan Ko at ng Aking Ama at ng Espiritu Santo. Naroon Ako para matunghayan Ko ang lahat at pumarito Ako sa mundo para makapiling Ko kayo at maranasan ninyo ang buhay na ganap at kasiya-siya. Nais kong ipadama kung gaano Ko kayo kamahal at iniibig. Subalit inabuso ninyo ang pag-ibig Kong ito na ibinigay sa inyo. Tinanggihan ninyo ang pag-ibig  na inialay Ko sa krus ang Aking buhay upang tubusin Ko kayo sa kasalanan at bigyan ng buhay na walang hanggan. Ipinagpalit ninyo sa salapi at iba pang material na bagay ang Aking pag-ibig. Dahil diyan, sinisingil kayo ng budhi ninyo at inuusig dahil sa katigasan ng inyong ulo. Pinatigas ninyo ang inyong puso at naging manhid kayo sa pangangailangan ng iba dahil nga binulag kayo ng mga materyal na bagay na iyan na kinahuhumalingan ninyo ngayon na inyong sinasamba at ng pag-ibig sa salapi. Ayon sa nasusulat, “ang lahat ng sumasamba sa mga diyus-diyusan ay matutulad sa kanila.” Kung paanong manhid at bulag ang mga diyus-diyusang ito, nagiging manhid din ang mga taong sumasamba rito. At gayon nga ang nangyayari, nagiging bulag at manhid sa pangangailangan ng iba ang mga nahuhumaling sa mga material na bagay at pag-ibig sa salapi. Wala na silang ibang naiisip kundi kung paanong kikita ng salapi para mabili ang gusto nila. Hindi ganyan ang ginawa ng mga unang Kristiyano. Sila’y nagpakadukha para maging mayaman ang iba. Ipinagbibili nila ang kanilang ari-arian at ang pinagbilhan ay ipinamamahagi ayon sa pangangailangan ng bawat isa. Nais Ko ngayong tularan ninyo ang ginawa nila upang maranasan ninyo ang at maunawaan ang tunay na kagalakan at kakuntentuhan sa buhay.

May panahon pa kayo para magsisi at tumalikod sa inyong mga kasalanan. Magsisi na kayo habang may panahon bago dumating ang araw ng kapighatian at kapanglawan na tiyak na darating sa sanlibutan para linisin sa karumihan ang mundong ito. Hindi Ko ikinatutuwa ang kamatayan ng masama. Ibig Kong siya’y magsisi at magbalik-loob sa Akin upang malasap niya ang Aking pag-ibig at pagpapatawad. Sapagkat  di Ko ninanais na kayo’y mapahamak. Ibig Kong maligtas kayo sa kasakunaang darating at makapiling kayo sa langit na tunay ninyong tahanan. Kaya magsisi na kayo upang maligtas at mabuhay.”

Statement of Faith

1. We believe in the bible as the inspired Word of God without error and as final authority for our Christian life. (2 Tm. 3:16)

2. We believe in One God in Three Divine Persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the begotten Son of God the Father, who was made flesh by the power of the Holy Spirit through the virginal womb of Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true Man.

4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person who convicts man of sin and judgment, that He is our Teacher of righteousness and our Comforter. He is not a force, an energy or thing.

5. We believe that man is created in the image and likeness of God but fell into sin and lost his divine character, attribute and innocence and that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and only through the regeneration of the spirit that salvation and forgiveness of sins are attained.

6. We believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ as the basis and ground for justification and salvation of all believers.

7. We believe that the Church is an organized group of people who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord of the Church.

8. We believe that Jesus Christ, although God who was made flesh, allowed Himself to experience the pain of human suffering; that He assumed man’s human nature in order to redeem man; that He took upon Himself the sins of mankind and bought man by His blood. He was crucified, died and was buried but rose again on the third day as a sign of His victory over death and hell. And after 40 days He ascended into heaven and sat onto the right hand throne of God the Father.

9. We believe that all the believers of Jesus Christ who died will be resurrected on the last day to inherit glorified bodies of immortality and eternal life while the believers who remain on earth on that Day will never taste death but will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air for His coming while the unbelievers who died will also be resurrected to receive judgment of eternal punishment in the lake of fire.

FREE PEOPLE AND SLAVES

Christians are not slaves by anybody or anything. They are free people who choose those things that would only glorify God while worldly people, unknown to them, are slaves by their own passions that would eventually lead them into destruction. They are claiming they are free people but in reality, they only want to get out of their own passions that enslave them.

A man who is a habitual drinker for example claims he is free to drink as long as he wants, yet when all alone by himself, he really wants to get out of the vice because it enslaves him but he does not know how. On the other hand, Christians do only what God wants them to do not because God wants to make them slaves but because they are happy to do what God pleases. They are free people because they are no longer slaves by their own passions. Worldly people think Christians are slaves because they do not do what the world expects but only what God wants. On the contrary, they are the one who are slaves because they do not do what they want but only what the world wants because they are afraid to be branded as “corny” or “conservative” or the like; they follow the systems of the world. 

Now, who do you think are really free people and slaves? Unknown to them they are slaves of the world.

Now if you think you are a Christian and yet you are a slave of your own passions, think again. Christians should not be slaves of their own passions because God had already set them free from the slavery of sin through Jesus Christ when they have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior and have served Him. The supreme sacrifice of Jesus at the cross had already freed them from the penalty of sin which is death.

8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! 16Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

19I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. 20When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:8-23).

Therefore, Christians must rejoice for they were already free by the blood of Jesus Christ that freed them from the slavery of sin.

Three Kinds of People In This World With Regards To Faith

1.) SKEPTICS: These people do not believe anything regarding God: the working of miracles, healing, working of the Holy Spirit, prophecy about the future, God answering prayers, the future life, the authority of Bible and even God Himself. They only believe in the things of this world. They are worldly and always want to satisfy their own passions and flesh. They would rather believe the theory of the scientists than the sayings of the Word of God and the ministers of the Gospel. They believe the teachings of intelligent men based on their judgment and understanding alone. In other words, they just believe in this present life and question the truth about the future life / next life / eternal life. Their slogan is ‘’to see is to believe.’’

2.) CREDULUOUS PEOPLE:

These people are exactly the opposite of the SKEPTICS. They will almost believe anything that they hear. If someone says there is a ‘’miracle’’ in the near barrio or town they will easily believe him and will rush to the said barrio or town. They easily get fooled by people who just want to take advantage of them. Filipinos are naturally religious and when they are in great trouble they would seek some Higher Beings to help them. Before the Spaniards came, they had already been worshipping spirits and nature that’s why they were called ‘’animists.’’ Today, you will see Filipinos in both the urban and rural areas gathering in one place, seeking cure of their illnesses from a ‘’psychic healer’’ or the like. They would easily believe these ‘’healers’’ because it is free of charge. Don’t get surprised if you even see respectable men and women looking for cure from these so-called ‘’healers.’’ It is said that if a person is desperate to find a solution to a certain problem, he would look for anything possible in order to solve his problems. They also claim that they have been really healed by these ‘’healers.’’ ‘’My people perish for lack of knowledge’’ (Hos.4:6). These so-called ‘’psychic healers’’ can really cure sickness and disease but through the aid of evil spirits who help these mediums. 

3.) BELIEVERS: These people are the Christians. They are neither skeptics nor credulous people. They examine every situation with regards to faith based on God’s Word. They are not skeptics because they believe in God through faith, trust in His Word, healing, miracles, the authority of the bible and eternal life. On the other hand, they are not like the credulous people who easily believe anything that they hear and see. Christians look for answers with their problems in the light of God’s word and through the help of mature Christian believer or a pastor. They pray first to guide their decision-making before they make any decision. Although they still sin, they are striving hard with God’s help and grace to live a holy and righteous life. People sometimes ridicule them because of their faith but they still continue to fight and deepen their faith in God. In the end, they stand victoriously.

How God Healed Me From Asthma

      Ever since I was a child I already suffered from asthma. I have suffered for 10 years when I was just eight years old until my 18th year. It occurred every night. I could still recall I had had a great difficulty in breathing whenever this disease attacked. I had sleepless nights and my parents were always worried whenever it occurred. I could see on their faces that they were very much affected because of my situation. The doctor who had diagnosed my problem prescribed two types of medicinal drugs that I needed to take everyday. The first tablet had a bitter taste, and the other one which must be halved due to its high dosage considering I was only eight years old. Imagine I was very young to take those two tablets! I also remembered when my mother told me about a young girl, about my age, whom they had seen how she had suffered from asthma and later died in the hospital. I was afraid it might also happen to me.

      Now the medicines I had been taking only relieved my asthma attacks temporarily. We finally resorted to consult different "faith healers." They were very common in the province where I grew up. They were sometimes called "psychic healers." After years of going to them and nothing had ever happened I told my parents that I would stop. It was no avail. My asthma had been recurring during cold evenings and was troubling me. I was already 18 and I had thought during those times that perhaps I might die at 25 years of age, but God was so merciful. He didn't let it happen.

     One day, when I was alone in my room contemplating about my life and family, I heard a small voice telling me, "Why don't you pray?" At that time I didn't know how to pray the right prayer. I only knew very few memorized prayer during my childhood taught in the public schools by cathechists. I knew how to pray with my mind very shortly and at the same time, I was also thinking who this voice could be? Yet I obeyed. I began to pray and I didn't notice that I was already praying continuously with tears flowing from my eyes. I didn't notice that I was already confessing my sins to God since childhood up to that night in my room! Nobody had taught me that type of prayer and I realized later in my christian walk, that it was the prayer of surrender wherein you will surrender your whole life to Christ as a form of submission to God's will. I remembered that I accepted Christ in my heart as Lord and Savior and asked for forgiveness from all my sins including my sins against my parents. I also realized that it was the seed which had been planted in my heart and grew at the right moment at the right time. I am referring to the Word of God that I heard from a pastor during our high school retreat. He told us that we must accept Christ as Lord and Savior through prayer. And during that lowest point in my life the seed had become ripe that's why I prayed truthfully from my heart.

     After my prayer, I felt the Lord Jesus Presence was there for the first time in my life embracing me because of a very warm sensation throughout my whole body. I knew it was the Lord's Presence. Peace and joy flooded my soul. That was the most unforgettable night that I could remember in my whole life when I had accepted Christ in my life. The heaviness and thorn-like thing in my heart was broken and dissolved by the love of God. I realized I was a sinner forgiven by God! And from that night onwards, my outlook in life was changed and my asthma was gone. I was healed! The asthma that had troubled me and had made me suffer for 10 long years was totally gone! It has not recurred until this day. Praise God!

     And this testimony I am sharing with you to let you know that God is alive and still works miracles only if we humble ourselves before Him, confess our sins to Him truthfully, turn away from it, and accept Christ Jesus in our life as our Lord and Savior. He will surely heal us and bless us.

What Love is...

What is love? They say that love is blind but that is not true. Love sees everything. If you can love those people who are unlovable in the eyes of other people you are not blind instead you can see. You don't live in the natural realm but in the spiritual realm. They might say you are crazy and may persecute you but keep on loving those who are not worthy to be loved. Jesus Christ came to love us who are not worthy of His love because of our sins and transgressions. Even before the foundation of the world He had already loved us until now. We continue to sin but He still loves us because it is His nature - love. GOD IS LOVE... Therefore, if we love those who are not worthy to be loved we are Christ's disciples. On the other hand, if we hate them and make fun of them, we are not His disciples but His enemies. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer (I John 3:15). There is still hope however. God's grace is sufficient for each one of us. He loves us that's why he came to show His love for us by dying in the cross. It is so great that even the angels rejoiced to see it.

My brethren, love one another as Jesus Christ loves us. He gave Himself for the Church and we are His Church - His Bride. Those who believe in Him and follow Him belong to His Church.

The Simple God's Purpose for Man

"I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you life and a purpose." (Jer. 29:11) God has a very beautiful plan for us, for each one of us who is living on this planet. But God has also given us the gift of "free will". God's beautiful plan for us will be fulfilled only if we submit to His will. We are free to choose. We are also free to choose if we will submit to His plan or not. In another verse of the bible it says, "I lay before you life or death, blessing or curses. Now choose life!" God is advising us to choose life (or good) and not evil. If we will choose good then God's beautiful plan will be fulfilled in us. If we will choose evil, then curses and death will happen to us. I'll give you a concrete example. God's command for children is to honor their father and mother. The promise of prosperity and long life will happen to children who honor their parents. And it is happening in our days. The successful people (not engaged in evil work, and getting rich) are those who have honored their parents. But curses happen to those who have disobeyed their parents. Hence, God's plan is good for us and if we will submit to His will and commandments it will be fulfilled in us.

Misyon ng Tao

        Lahat ng tao ay may nakatakda ng misyon sa buhay bago pa ipanganak. Ito’y itinakda na sa kanya ng Diyos bago pa likhain ang sanlibutan. Ang misyong ito’y hanapin, makilala, mahalin at paglingkuran ang Diyos na di nakikita. Ito ang pangunahing misyon ng tao sa mundong ito. Kapag nagampanan niya ang misyong ito, magiging maligaya, kuntento, at tagumpay siya sa buhay na pahiram sa kanya ng Diyos. Kung hindi naman niya ito masumpungan magiging malungkot, hindi ganap, at bigo siya sa buhay sa daigdig na ito.

        Maraming tao ang naghahanap ng kaligayahan kung saan-saang lugar o bagay at kung kani-kaninong tao. Itinuturo ng salita ng Diyos na dapat nating hanapin ang kaligayahan sa Diyos at ang mga pangarap natin ay ating makakamtan (Awit 37:4). Subalit ang mga tao ay naghahanap ng kaligayahan sa mga bagay na pansamantala at lumilipas sa pag-aakalang siya’y magiging kuntento at tagumpay sa buhay na ito. Datapuwat kabaligtaran ang nangyayari. Habang nadaragdagan ang pangangailangan ng tao lalo siyang nagiging hindi kuntento sa buhay. Sa banding huli higit siyang nagiging malungkot, kulang, at miserable sa buhay. Kapag kasama ng mga kaibigan at kakilala naipapakita niya ang kasiyahang huwad pero kapag nag-iisa na siya lumalabas na ang tunay niyang nasasaloob. Bakit nagkakaganito ang buhay ng mga tao? Sapagkat hinahanap nga niya ang kasagutan, kasapatan, at kaligayahan sa mga bagay na lumilipas sa pag-aakalang iyon ang pupuno sa kanyang kahungkagan sa buhay. Noon pa mang una’y naranasan na ito ng tao at isang matalinong tao ang nagsabi ng ganito: “Walang kabuluhan, walang halaga ang lahat ng bagay” (Mang.1:2). Siya ay si Solomon, anak ni Haring David. Siya ang isa sa pinakamarunong, pinakatanyag, at pinakamayamang tao ng kanyang kapanahunan. Subalit sa kabila ng lahat ng ito ay nasabi niya ang mga pananalitang ito bagamat siya pa ang nagpagawa ng pinakamagandang templo ng Diyos sa lupa noon. Bakit kung ganoon? Sapagkat natuon siya ng husto sa mga alalahanin sa daigdig na ito. Ipinapakita ng halimbawa ni Solomon na hindi ang kayamanan, katanyagan, at maging karunungan ang makapagpapaligaya sa tao kundi ang personal na relasyon sa Diyos. Si Solomon na rin ang nagsabi: “Kung wala ang Diyos walang kasiyahan ang sinuman. Ang karunungan, kaalaman, at kaligayahan ay ipinagkakaloob ng Diyos sa lahat ng kinalulugdan niya.” (Mang. 2:25-26). Sinasabi rin sa Juan 14:6: Sumagot si Hesus, “Ako ang daan, ang katotohanan, at ang buhay. Walang makapupunta sa Ama kundi sa pamamagitan Ko.” Si Hesus ang ibinigay ng Ama sa katubusan ng ating mga kasalanan. Ang kasalanan kung gayon ang nagdulot sa tao ng kahirapan, pagdurusa, kalungkutan, at kabiguan sa buhay. Sinasabi ng biblia sa I Juan 3:4 na ang kasalanan ay paglabag sa kautusan. Ang Diyos ay nagbigay sa atin ng Kautusan upang maging pamantayan natin sa buhay sa daigdig na ito. Ito ang nagtuturo sa atin kung alin ang mabuti o masama. Subalit ipinakita na kasaysayan at maging sa ating makabagong panahon na hindi nasusunod at nasunod ng tao ang Kautusan ng Diyos. Bakit? Sapagkat naalipin siya ng kasalanan na humahatak sa kanya para gumawa siya ng masama at nagtutulak sa kanya sa kapahamakan. Ang kasalanan ang bumubulag sa tao upang gawin ang bawat maibigan na sa palagay niya ay tama basta hindi makakaperwisyo sa iba, okey na raw iyon. Halimbawa kung sabihin ng isang lasenggo na hindi naman siya nakakaperwisyo sa iba kapag naglalasing ay tama na sa kanya iyon. Basta wala siyang naaapektuhang tao. Sinasabi rin niyang wala naman sa Sampung Utos na ipinagbabawal ang paglalasing. Ang nagiging pamantayan niya ngayon ay ang kanyang sariling palagay at hindi ang kautusan. Makikita natin dito na hindi nagampanan ng kautusan ang kanyang tungkulin upang ituwid at baguhin ang tao sa liko niyang pamumuhay. Sinasabi rin sa Galatia 2:16 na ang tao’y hindi mapawawalang-sala sa pamamagitan ng pagtalima sa kautusan. Ngayon, kung hindi kayang ituwid at baguhin ang tao sa pamamagitan ng kautusan, ano ang puwedeng magtuwid at magbago sa kanya? Salamat sa Diyos sapagkat noon pa mang una’y nakita na niya ito. Ito ang dahilan kung bakit ibinigay ng Diyos ang kanyang Bugtong na Anak. Siya ang naging handog sa ikapagpapatawad ng ating mga kasalanan sa lahat ng mananalig sa Kanya. Ang Anak ng Diyos ay nagkatawang-tao at namuhay na karaniwang tao sa ilalim ng kautusan upang mapalaya ang lahat ng nasa ilalim nito (Galatia 4:4-5). Siya ay inusig, pinaratangan ng mali, at namatay sa krus upang maging handog sa kapatawaran ng kasalanan ng lahat ng tao. At sa pamamagitan ng dugo niyang nabubo, nililinis ng Diyos ang kasalanan ng mga taong nananalig sa Kanyang Anak. At noong siya’y muling nabuhay, nagtagumpay na Siya sa kamatayan at kasalanang mortal na kaaway ng tao sa daigdig na ito. Sa gayon ang lahat ng mananalig sa Hesus ay pawawalang-sala ng Diyos sa lahat ng umaalipin sa tao upang mamuhay ng kalugud-lugod sa Kanya.

         Subalit naganap na ang pag-aalay ni Hesus sa krus at ang muli niyang pagkabuhay, bakit marami pa rin taong namumuhay sa kasalanan at kalayawan na parang wala namang Diyos? Ang dahilan ay sapagkat hindi lahat ng tao ay naniwala kay Hesus at kadalasan sumusunod lang ang tao sa Diyos dahil iyon ay iniutos sa kanya o nakaugalian na niya na nagpasalin-salin (tradisyon) at nawawalan na ng kabuluhan ang ginawa ni Hesus sa krus. Kung makikinig lang tayo sa mga itinuturo sa mga simbahan ay bihira nang binibigyang-diin ang kasalanan at ang kabayaran nito sa pangangaral o sermon, kahalagahan at kahulugan ng bautismo, kahulugan ng kamatayan at Muling Pagkabuhay ni Hesus sa ating mga personal na buhay, Pangkalahatang Kahatulan, ang tungkol sa Langit at Impiyerno, at Buhay na Walang Hanggan. Ang itinuturo na lang ngayon ay tungkol sa Social Righteousness. Hindi dapat maging corrupt ang mga opisyal ng pamahalaan, etc. Laging sila ang pinapatungkulan at natitira subalit ang mga kasalanan ng ordinaryong mga tao ay na-to-tolerate. Hindi gaanong hinahamon ang mga taong magsisi at tumalikod sa mga kasalanan at kung hinahamon man, kakaunti lamang ang tumutugon sa panawagan ng pagsisisi. Hinahayaan na lang ang mga taong manatili sa kanilang kasalanan basta gagawa lamang ng mabuti sa kanilang kapwa na para bang ito lang ang paraan para mapatawad ang tao sa kasalanan. Nalilimutan na ang handog ni Cristo Hesus sa krus ay sapat na upang tayo ay mapatawad sa ating mga kasalanan kung mananalig tayo sa Kanya at Kanyang ginawa para sa atin, pagsisisihan at tatalikdan ang ating mga kasalanan, at tatanggapin Siya sa ating mga puso bilang Panginoon at Tagapagligtas (Heb. 9:28; 10:12-18; Gawa 2:38; Juan 1:12-13; Pahayag 3:20). Ang mabubuting gawa ay bunga ng ating pakikipag-isa kay Cristo Jesus bilang Panginoon at Tagapagligtas. Ang sinasabi pa nila, sa Araw ng Paghuhukom na lang daw malalaman kung sino ang maliligtas at kung sino ang mapapahamak. Mali pong turo ito. Inutusan ng Panginoon ang Kanyang mga alagad na ipangaral ang Mabuting Balita sa lahat ng tao at sa lahat ng bansa, bautismuhan sila at turuang sumunod sa lahat ng aral Niya (Mateo 28:18-20). Nangangahulugan ito na dapat ipangaral ang pagsisisi, kapatawaran ng kasalanan, kaligtasan, at buhay na walang hanggan upang magsisi ang mga tao sa kanilang mga kasalanan at magbagong-buhay upang magkaroon ng katiyakan na sila’y maliligtas dito pa lang sa lupa at sa kabilang buhay (Juan 3:16-18,36). Paano magsisisi ang tao sa mga kasalanan niya kung di ipinapangaral ang tungkol dito at sa kabayaran nito? Paano sila magbabagong-buhay? Sa pamamagitan lang ba ng sariling kakayahan at edukasyon? Maraming matalino ang hindi nakakasumpong ng tunay na kahulugan ng buhay at nananatiling malungkot sa kabila ng kanilang mga nakamit na tagumpay, kayamanan, at kasikatan. Bakit? Iisa ang dahilan – hindi nila kilala nang personal ang Diyos na lumikha sa kanila at nagbigay sa kanila ng lahat na mayroon sila. Sa patunay ng karanasan at kasaysayan, hindi kayang iligtas ng edukasyon ang tao sa kasalanan niya ni pabutihin ng edukasyon ang moralidad ng tao. Hindi ito nangangahulugang masama ang edukasyon. Kailangan natin ito sa temporal na buhay sa ibabaw ng lupa subalit hindi ito ang solusyon sa maraming katanungan ng tao tungkol sa tunay na kahulugan ng buhay, kung bakit siya naririto sa mundo, kung ano ang layunin niya sa daigdig na ito, at marami pang iba. Dito ngayon pumapasok ang papel na ginagampanan ng Mabuting balita tungkol kay Cristo Hesus. Una: Nilikha ng Diyos ang sanlibutan mula sa wala. Hindi ito produkto ng ebolusyon. Pagkatapos nilikha Niya ang iba’t ibang uri ng halaman at hayop sa ibabaw ng lupa at sa tubig. Pinagpala niya ang mga ito at inutusang magpakarami. Pagkatapos nilikha Niya ang tao buhat sa alabok. Hiningahan Niya at nagkaroon ito ng buhay. Nilikha nga Niya ang tao pagkatapos likhain ang lahat at siya ang pinaka-espesyal sa lahat ng Kanyang mga nilalang dahil nilikha siya ayon sa larawan at wangis mismo ng Diyos. Nagtatag din ang Diyos ng mga batas na natural na mamamahala sa sanlibutan. Pagkatapos, binigyan Niya ng tagubilin ang tao. Ginawa ng Diyos ito upang matiyak Niya kung susunod ang tao sa Kanya o hindi. Ito ang malayang pagpili ng tao. Hindi tayo nilikhang kagaya ng robot na de-susi. Nais ng Diyos na piliin natin Siya nang malaya at di pinipilit. Subalit di ito nangyari dahil sumuway nga ang tao at doon pumasok ang kasalanan. Ang magandang plano ng Diyos na makasama Niya tayo sa walang hanggang kaharian at kaluwalhatian ay sinira ng kasalanan ng pagsuway. Nasusulat na ang kabayaran ng kasalanan ay kamatayan (Roma 6:23). Lahat tayo ngayon ay mamamatay at mapapahamak. Pinabayaan na lang ba tayo ng Diyos sa ganitong kalagayan? Hindi sapagkat ang Diyos ay Diyos ng pag-ibig (I Juan 4:8). Kung Siya’y nagpaparusa di katumbas ng pagsuway (Awit 103:10). Kayat noong makita ito ng Diyos ay kaagad Siyang nagpadala ng magliligtas sa tao sa kanyang kalagayan upang makamtan muli niya ang plano ng Diyos sa kanya. Siya nga’y walang iba kundi si Hesus na Bugtong Niyang Anak. Siya’y nagdusa at namatay sa krus alang-alang sa atin – ang walang kasalanan para sa makasalanan upang sa pamamagitan Niya ay maging matuwid tayo sa harap ng Diyos (II Corinto 5:21). Ang lahat ngayon ng mananalig sa Kanya ay maliligtas.

         Ito ngayon ang solusyon sa lahat ng problema at katanungan ng tao sa buhay na ito. Ito ang dahilan kung bakit tayo naririto sa daigdig na ito – upang makilala, mahalin, at paglingkuran ang Diyos na di nakikita na unang nagmahal sa atin at nag-alay ng Kanyang sarili alang-alang sa atin (I Juan 4:10, 19). Kung gayon ang Diyos ang kahulugan ng buhay ng tao. Sayang kung hindi natin Siya makikilala dito sa lupa. Ito ang pinakamalaking pagkakamali na maaari nating magawa. Nawa’y huwag tayong magkamali sa pagpili bago maging huli ang lahat.
